Who is eligible for zero trading fees?

All Bitfinex customers are eligible for zero trading fees. There are no volume requirements, no token holdings and no tier conditions to meet.

How will Bitfinex make a profit if trading fees are zero?

Bitfinex has a variety of alternative revenue streams beyond trading fees, and these will remain in place to keep the exchange sustainable.

Are fees being lowered as part of a promotion?

No, the lowering of trading fees to zero will be an ongoing change and become the new standard for our platform, and no qualification such as trade volume or LEO holdings are required for a customer to receive this benefit. Zero is the new default.

Are we changing our other fees to compensate?
